Cxnnected is a vibrant youth ministry and organisation within Fountain Church. Our mission is to provide a space where teenagers (Year 7 to Year 13) can gather, build relationships rooted in Christ, and grow both spiritually and personally. We meet weekly to have fun, build connections, worship God, and study His word.
Throughout the year, we create spaces where we regularly read and study the word of God. We also facilitate events that equip young people with essential life skills, such as financial literacy, job application skills (e.g., writing CVs, cover letters, and personal statements), and much more. What makes us unique is that everything we do is rooted in God's Word. Additionally, Cxnnected provides opportunities for youth to nurture and grow their gifts through leadership and allow them to build on their creativity.
Cxnnected is more than a youth club; it's a family and a community dedicated to equipping the next generation. We also build networks within schools to ensure continuous support among peers. Over the past few years, we've witnessed tremendous growth—both numerically and spiritually—and we're excited to see what God has in store as we continue seeking His guidance.
I'm Isaiah Mutabaruka, and it's my honour to serve as the Youth Pastor here at Fountain Church. Leading CXNNECTED, our youth ministry for ages 12-18, is more than just a role for me—it's a calling that I'm passionate about.
My heart is to see young people encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. I believe this generation has incredible potential, and I'm committed to creating spaces where they can explore their faith, ask hard questions, build authentic friendships, and discover who God has called them to be.
Growing up in the church, I've seen firsthand how a strong community and spiritual foundation can shape a young person's life. That's why at CXNNECTED, we focus on discipleship, worship, and equipping our young people to lead—not just in the future, but right now.
When I'm not with the youth, you'll probably find me at the gym or BJJ, recording content, or spending time with family. I love connecting with people and believe that ministry happens just as much in everyday moments as it does on Sunday mornings.
