At Fountain Church, we take the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and adults at risk seriously. Creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can grow in faith and community is central to who we are.
To help ensure this, we have clear safeguarding measures in place. We are committed to following statutory guidance and specialist advice in all areas of safeguarding. Everyone serving in a role that involves working with children or vulnerable adults is safely recruited, trained, supported, and supervised in line with government standards and our church’s safeguarding policy.
We believe safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and we aim to foster a culture where concerns can be raised and responded to appropriately. Our safeguarding team is accessible, proactive, and supported by ongoing training and accountability.
We also work closely with Thirtyone:eight (formerly Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service – CCPAS) to make sure our policies and practices remain current and effective.
Together, we are committed to building a church community where every individual is valued, protected, and free to thrive.
